Houston Deaf Rights Update

They finally updated the Houston Deaf Rights Blogsite with an update to what happened and what has been going on with the March and the results of it.  There is also a video of it here – it starts around at 6:00 if you want to see it – Click here for video and click on Public Speakers 2 of 4 and around 6:00 is where Dan Warthling comes in and gives his presentation to the City Council. 



About Billy Koch

Billy Koch, a deaf professional who works in the IT industry. He currently works for The Methodist Hospital System in the Business Development Office. Billy has over 14 years of IT experience behind him. Billy is the son of a deaf parents, and has a deaf brother as well. He grew up in a mainstream program with no deaf education program. He was first exposed to the deaf culture when he attended Gallaudet University for his Bachelors from 91-96. Billy is currently working on his MBA which he expects to complete by December of 2009. He is currently the President of Southeast Deaf Golf Association and also does web development work on the side. He is an aspiring guy who wants to also educate the community of what they can do and what they can achieve.

    Can someone transcribe/translate/interpret what the city council said to Danny Warthling? We can only know what Danny said.
